Job Title: Executive Officer (EO)
Location: Dublin
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm (office based)
Salary: €34,023 (€18.69 per hour)

Role Purpose
The Executive Officer will provide high-quality administrative, coordination, and operational support within a busy office environment. The role involves managing workflows, supporting senior staff, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the efficient delivery of day-to-day services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting organisational objectives through effective administration, communication, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team/department
- Manage correspondence including emails, phone calls, and written communication
- Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure records are up to date
- Prepare reports, documents, presentations, and meeting materials
Coordination & Service Delivery
- Coordinate daily operational activities within the department
- Support workflow management and ensure deadlines are met
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Assist in planning and organising meetings, schedules, and events
Data Management & Reporting
- Input, update, and maintain databases and information systems
- Extract and compile data for reports and audits
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance at all times
Customer / Stakeholder Engagement
- Deal with queries in a professional and timely manner
- Provide clear information and guidance to service users or staff
- Escalate issues where appropriate to senior management
General Duties
- Work collaboratively as part of a team in a busy office environment
- Provide support to senior staff and cover duties where required
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Undertake any additional duties as assigned by management
Essential Requirements
- Experience working in an administrative or office-based role
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in public sector, education, or healthcare environment
- Familiarity with data systems or reporting tools
- Experience handling high-volume administrative work
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles
- Experience supporting senior management or operational teams
