Executive Head Chef

Here at The Noel Group we are looking for an Executive Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations within our Client establishment.
You will lead a team of culinary professionals, ensure high-quality food production, and develop innovative menu offerings. Your creativity, leadership, and culinary expertise will be essential to the success of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and kitchen staff management.
• Develop and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and flavor.
• Lead and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Maintain inventory and control costs to meet budgetary goals.
• Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and special event offerings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and facilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Head Chef or similar role in large property.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
• Creativity and innovation in menu development and food presentation.
• Understanding of food and labor cost controls.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification from a culinary institution is a plus.

Day-to-day

Your day-to-day activities will include creating and refining menus, overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high culinary standards. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.

Hours

As an Executive Head Chef, you can expect long hours, including evenings and weekends, to oversee kitchen operations during busy dining periods.
