An established Irish construction head contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing commercial team. The company delivers new-build apartment developments and conservation / heritage construction projects across Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with strong local market experience to work on high-quality projects with a reputable contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for new apartment and conservation projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and subcontractor packages
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Work closely with the Commercial, Design, and Construction teams to develop competitive bids
• Assist with value engineering and risk analysis
• Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations, procurement practices, and industry standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator with a main / head contractor in Ireland
• Demonstrable track record of delivering construction projects in Ireland
• Experience in residential apartment projects and/or conservation / heritage works
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction costs, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills
• Must have the legal right to work in Ireland (visa sponsorship is not available)
