Endoscopy Operative – Join Noel Group’s Healthcare Team

Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a dedicated team responsible for the decontamination and sterilisation of surgical instrument sets and flexible endoscopes (Reusable Invasive Medical Devices – RIMD).
- Undertake duties related to the decontamination of medical devices, including surgical instruments and flexible endoscopes, to support clinical care.
- Assist with the collection, delivery, receipt, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, reassembly, packing, disinfection, and sterilisation of reusable medical devices.
- Accurately record all tasks using tracking and bracing systems in the department.
- Adhere to the department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Be prepared for exposure to blood and body fluids as part of your daily duties.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential
(a) Hold a qualification in Health Service Skills or Health Care Support at Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Level 5 (or higher)
Or
(b) Hold a relevant Health Care Qualification equivalent to (a) above
Desirable
(c) Possess a Level 6 Minor Award in RIMO Decontamination, or commit to undertake it
(d) Have the personal competence and capacity to discharge the functions of the role effectively.

Desirable Experience:
- Experience in all sections of the decontamination process is an advantage.
