Electrical Site Engineer

We are recruiting an Electrical Site Engineer on behalf of our client, who will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of low voltage switchgear for data centre clients in Ireland and throughout Europe.

Our client is a Dublin head quartered company who are a leader in their field and service some of the world’s largest manufacturing and data centre companies.

While the role is based in Dublin, there will be requirement for frequent travel to customer sites throughout Ireland and Europe.

They are looking to hire an experienced LV engineer with previous experience with switchgear.

Main responsibilities:

• Installation of cabling components and cables
• Install, connect, test and commission LV switchgear
• Carry out maintenance and modifications as required
• Carry out thermal imaging surveys
• Maintain close relationships with clients
• Provide certification and documentation to clients
• Provide internal project status reports

Minimum requirements

• Be based in Dublin with the right to work in Ireland
• Be flexible to travel throughout Ireland and Europe as required
• Full driving license
• Degree in electrical engineering or qualified electrician (Ireland)
• Substantial experience working with switchgear, ideally in a manufacturing environment
