Duty Manager – Clonakilty – €35,000 per annum

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a leading client in the hospitality industry to recruit an experienced Duty Manager for a well-established property in Clonakilty.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to join a busy and dynamic environment where guest experience, team leadership, and operational excellence are at the heart of the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the property while ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments are running efficiently and delivering exceptional guest service. You will act as the senior manager on duty, supporting teams across the property, resolving guest issues, and ensuring operational standards are consistently met.

The Duties

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Support and lead all operational departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping.

  • Ensure excellent guest satisfaction by handling queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

  • Act as manager on duty, making operational decisions as required.

  • Monitor staffing levels and assist with daily scheduling and operational planning.

  • Support training, coaching, and development of team members.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and legal requirements.

  • Maintain high standards of presentation and service throughout the property.

  • Work closely with senior management to achieve operational and financial targets.

  • Contribute to a positive and motivated team environment.

The Must Requirements to Be Considered

  • Must have experience in Hospitality.

  • Must have experience in a Duty Manager or similar hotel supervisory/management role, or be ready to step up in your career.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

  • Living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland (ROI).

  • Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
