Reports To: General Manager / Deputy Manager

Noel Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established 4-star hotel client in Cork for an experienced and dependable Duty Manager to join their management team.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management of the hotel across food & beverage, front office, accommodation, and guest services while ensuring the highest standards of customer care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager and Deputy Manager in the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel
  • Assist in overseeing all departments including food & beverage, reception, accommodation, and kitchen operations
  • Ensure efficient and professional service standards are maintained at all times, particularly during busy periods
  • Deliver and promote exceptional customer service across all areas of the hotel
  • Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring positive outcomes wherever possible
  • Complete all required operational, security, and departmental checklists
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and security for guests and staff
  • Provide operational support across departments as required
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Duty Manager role within a 4-star hotel environment
  • At least 3 years’ experience in food & beverage operations within hospitality
  • A qualification in Hotel Management or a related discipline would be advantageous
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about guest satisfaction and delivering high service standards
  • Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and varied shifts
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
