Duty Manager

Location: County Roscommon

Salary: From €32,000 – €35,000 per year
Job Type: Permanent | Full-time
Schedule: Weekend availability required

The Role

A prestigious 4-Star Deluxe castle estate and spa in County Roscommon is embarking on continued growth and expansion. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leadership team focused on elevating guest experience, mentoring team members, and driving operational performance.

As Duty Manager, you will oversee the daily running of key hotel functions and support the General Manager and Deputy General Manager in delivering exceptional service standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel.

• Ensure quality and service standards are consistently achieved.

• Anticipate guest needs and proactively manage expectations.

• Support the management of daily hotel operations across all departments.

• Ensure prompt and effective resolution of guest issues.

• Maintain full knowledge of the hotel and departmental operations.

• Act as the senior representative on shift, ensuring smooth operational flow.

Requirements

• Previous experience within the hotel or hospitality industry.

• Minimum 3 years’ Food & Beverage experience (required).

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Passionate about hospitality and guest experience.

• Mature and professional manner when dealing with guests and colleagues.

• Strong upselling skills across all areas of the hotel and sister properties.

• Strong problem-solving ability with a solution-oriented approach.

• Full-time availability including weekends.

• Authorised to work in Ireland (required).

• Ability to commute to County Roscommon or relocate prior to commencement.
