Job description

Noel Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee operations at a busy airport canteen. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for hospitality and high standards of service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the canteen to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Manage front of house activities, including greeting customers, taking orders, and handling complaints.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Set up and manage tills, ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff members.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene standards.

Qualification:

  • Minimum of supervisory experience in a hospitality or food service environment.
  • Strong background in service and front-of-house operations.
  • Full driver license and access to your own vehicle.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle varying schedules.
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work early mornings and late evenings.
