The Noel Group is a leading recruitment agency operating nationwide across various markets. Our client, a branded hotel in Athlone, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Duty Manager to join their team.

As the Duty Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that guests receive a high standard of service and that the hotel runs smoothly. You will act as the first point of contact for guests, staff, and other departments, addressing issues and ensuring all hotel standards are maintained. You will support the General Manager and Heads of Departments in delivering a seamless guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth running of all departments.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Manage staff during shifts, ensuring hotel standards are adhered to and that staff are motivated and supported.
  • Monitor security, health & safety, and emergency procedures within the hotel.
  • Assist with staff training and development to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and other department heads to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, ideally in a branded hotel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be currently residing in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland (ROI).
  • Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
