Director of Operations – Luxury Hotel
Co. Wicklow
Salary: Up to €75,000
The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced and commercially focused Director of Operations for a luxury hotel property in Co. Wicklow.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional to join a well-established luxury hotel known for delivering exceptional guest experiences, premium service standards, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the senior management team, overseeing the day-to-day hotel operation while driving service quality, team performance, and overall business success.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury hospitality operations with proven experience managing multiple departments within a hotel environment. This role would also suit an experienced Operations Manager or Deputy General Manager ready to take the next step in their hospitality career.
As Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational performance of the hotel across all departments, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, financial performance, and team leadership standards are achieved consistently.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of all hotel departments to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Lead, mentor, and develop departmental management teams
- Drive exceptional guest service standards throughout the property
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where required
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and hospitality standards
- Work closely with senior management on business strategy and operational planning
- Manage staffing levels, labour costs, and operational efficiencies
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and effectively
- Maintain strong communication across all departments within the hotel
The Must Requirements to Be Considered
- Must have previous experience within the Hospitality industry
- Must have experience in a similar senior management role or be ready to step forward in their career
- Strong operational background within a luxury hotel environment preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Proven ability to manage and motivate large teams
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Must currently be living in Ireland and hold the legal right to work in ROI
- Visa and relocation packages are not provided
