Job Title: Customer Service Agent (Part-Time)

Location: Dun Laoghaire (with occasional cover in Gorey or nearby stores)
Hours: 2 days per week – Friday & Saturday 9:30am–5:30pm or 10:00am–6:00pm. Plus additional days for Holiday cover and sick cover in Gorey or nearby stores.
Rate: €15-€18 per hour (depending on experience)
Commission: €100 per completed hearing aid booking

Overview

A well-established hearing care clinic in Dun Laoghaire is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Agent to support the clinic on a part-time basis. This role involves working Fridays and Saturdays, with additional hours available to cover staff holidays when needed.

The ideal candidate will have a full driving licence and access to a car, as they may occasionally be required to provide holiday or sick-leave cover in the Gorey store, the Dun Laoghaire store, or other clinics in the surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to all walk-in customers and patients.
• Manage front-of-house duties, including answering queries, taking messages, and supporting the on-site audiologist.
• Handle appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and general administrative tasks.
• Assist customers with basic hearing aid queries and product information (full training provided).
• Maintain accurate clinic records and updates through the internal CRM system.
• Ensure the reception and waiting area are tidy, organised, and customer-friendly.
• Support smooth day-to-day operations and provide holiday and sick cover in other stores when required.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a customer service, reception, or front-of-house role is essential.
• Warm, patient, and customer-focused communication style.
• Comfortable working with older adults and providing reassurance and support.
• Organised, reliable, and able to multitask in a small but busy clinic environment.
• Basic proficiency with computers and willingness to learn internal systems.
• Experience in healthcare, hearing care, or similar environments is a bonus but not required.
• Must have a full driving licence and access to a car.
• Flexibility to cover holiday leave and sick cover in the Gorey store, Dun Laoghaire store, or nearby clinics.

Compensation & Hours

• €15-€18 per hour, DOE
