Are you passionate about cooking and creating delicious meals? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our client’s production kitchen as a full-time cook! This is a great opportunity for a talented individual looking to kick-start their career in the food industry.

42 hours per week, 5 over 7-day rotating schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and guidelines
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
  • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
  • Follow food safety and HACCP procedures at all times
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers
  • Execute opening and closing procedures

Requirements:

  • Basic food preparation experience is preferred
  • Calm demeanor and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, including safe temperatures at which ingredients must be kept and to which food must be prepared to avoid foodborne illness
  • Comprehension and organization to follow direct instructions and recipes and to correctly prepare dishes following company standards
