Construction Operative (Concrete & Shuttering)

Job description

Noel Group are currently looking for construction operative with experience in concrete and shuttering works, for work in Blessington, Wicklow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and dismantle formwork/shuttering for concrete structures (walls, columns, slabs, foundations)
• Assist with pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete
• Read and follow technical drawings and site instructions
• Ensure proper alignment and stability of formwork before pouring
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Support steel fixers with placing reinforcement (rebar) when required
• Carry out site preparation and clean-up
• Follow all health & safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE
• Work as part of a team to meet deadlines and quality standards

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in concrete work and shuttering/formwork
• Manual handling
• Ability to read basic construction drawings
• Good physical fitness and stamina
• Knowledge of site safety practices
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
