Structural Engineer – Tunnel & Roads Project

About the Role:

My client is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer for a major infrastructure project in Dublin. This is a hands-on, onsite role, overseeing the construction of a road and tunnel, and managing subcontractors to ensure the project runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors on site.
• Provide practical, on-site problem-solving and technical guidance.
• Ensure construction quality, compliance, and safety standards are met.
• Liaise with project management and site teams to keep the project on track.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a solid track record in delivering similar projects in Ireland
• Minimum of 5 years’ Irish project experience in civil or structural engineering.
• Proven experience in building roads and tunnels in Ireland is essential.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates must be hands-on, site-focused engineers
• Candidates must possess full, unrestricted permission to work in the Republic of Ireland
