Chef (Full-Time, Temporary) – Waterford

We are recruiting an experienced Chef for a full-time temporary role supporting a range of hospitality clients across Waterford.

Applicants must currently be based in Ireland and hold a valid work permit.
Applications from candidates outside Ireland cannot be considered.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys variety, new environments, and flexible placement across different kitchens.

About the Role

You will work with a range of hospitality clients, including hotels, restaurants, events, cafés, and catering operations. Duties may include:

• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
• Supporting day-to-day kitchen operations
• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
• Assisting with menu preparation and service
• Working both independently and as part of a team
• Adapting to different kitchen environments and service styles

This role suits a reliable and confident chef who can step into different kitchens and maintain high standards.

Essential Requirements

These are mandatory:

• Current residence in Ireland
• Valid work permit / right to work in Ireland
• Previous experience as a Chef

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Chef (Commis, Chef de Partie, Senior Chef, etc.)
• Good understanding of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
• Ability to adapt quickly to different teams and workplaces

A driving licence and access to a car is a strong advantage, but not essential.
