We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Hotel Chef De Partie to join our Client culinary team in Trim. The ideal candidate will have exceptional culinary skills, creativity, and a strong understanding of diverse cuisines. This role will require a professional who is able to work in a fast-paced environment while consistently delivering high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in creating and preparing high-quality dishes
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen team
- Ensure that all food products are of the highest quality and adhering to food safety standards
- Contribute to menu planning and development of new recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a positive and efficient work culture
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or relevant role in a hotel environment
- Proficient in preparing and cooking a variety of cuisines with a focus on presentation and taste
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
Day-to-day
- Collaborating with the Head Chef to create and prepare dishes
- Supervising kitchen staff and ensuring the quality of dishes prepared
- Contributing to menu development and maintaining a clean work environment
- Adhering to food safety standards and regulations
- Leading by example and fostering a positive work environment
