The ideal Chef Manager will be skilled in food preparation and management, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional catering services.

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute catering menus for a College site, ensuring high-quality and diverse culinary offerings
- Manage a team of kitchen staff 4 in total and catering personnel, providing guidance, training, and support
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service, while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific catering needs and provide personalized service
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize the catering operation’s efficiency and profitability
Qualifications
- Must have experience as a Catering Chef Manager, demonstrating a strong culinary background and leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and catering operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer service and client relations
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple catering events simultaneously
- Understanding of diversity and inclusion principles, and a commitment to creating inclusive and welcoming culinary experiences
- Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI
Day-to-Day
- Collaborate with clients to create customized catering menus
- Lead and support kitchen and catering staff during food preparation and service
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize efficiency and profitability
- Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Hours
- This is a full-time position
- 39 Hours a week
- Close only on Christmas period for 2 weeks
- Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
