Temporary Chef – Kilkenny & Surrounding Areas | Ireland Experience Required | Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting an experienced Temporary Chef to provide cover across a range of client sites in Kilkenny and surrounding areas. This role involves working in multiple kitchens, supporting teams during busy periods, and stepping into assignments at short notice.

This opportunity is best suited to a chef with previous experience working in Ireland, who is confident adapting quickly to different kitchen environments and maintaining consistent standards across varied sites.

The Role

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard
• Working across multiple client kitchens and catering environments
• Supporting kitchen teams during service, peak periods, and staff cover requirements
• Ensuring all food is prepared in line with client specifications
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation in all kitchens
• Following all Health & Safety and HACCP procedures at all times

Requirements

• Previous chef experience in Ireland is essential
• Ability to work confidently across different kitchen environments
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and service standards
• Valid Food Safety Level 2 (HACCP) certification required
• Valid Manual Handling certification required
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced kitchens
• Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
