Job Title: Chef De Partie
Location: Portarlington, Co. Laois
Salary: €40,000 per annum (45 hours per week)

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to recruit a Chef De Partie for their renowned property in Portarlington, Co. Laois. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled chef to join a professional kitchen team that prides itself on delivering exceptional food and service to every guest.

As Chef De Partie, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene are consistently maintained. You will be responsible for your own section, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards in your designated section.

  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.

  • Maintain high levels of hygiene and food safety in compliance with HACCP standards.

  • Ensure portion control, consistency, and quality across all menu items.

  • Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure efficient delivery of service.

  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.

  • Contribute to menu development and the creation of seasonal specials.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.

  • Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and food safety standards.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.

  • A genuine passion for food, creativity, and continuous improvement.

  • Must be currently living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.

  • Visa or relocation packages are not provided.
