Noel Group is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie. As a chef de partie, you will play a key role in supporting the kitchen with the day-to-day operations. You will help ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly day-to-day and meets the highest culinary and hygiene standards. We are looking for someone with a passion for delivering high-quality service. You’ll work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, bringing a proactive approach to anticipating needs, refining standards, and creating exceptional dining experiences.

Our client is a 4 star hotel in Wicklow. This hotel has 86 bedrooms and is always on the look out for passionate people to deliver world-class hospitality in a sustainable manor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in upholding excellence in food sourcing, storage, preparation, and service.
  • Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards to maintain a clean, compliant kitchen environment.
  • Ensure all purchased ingredients meet agreed-upon quality levels, supporting consistent excellence in every dish.
  • Collaborate with senior chefs to enhance menu offerings and overall food quality.
  • Anticipate dietary needs and specific guest preferences, ensuring their satisfaction with personalized service.
  • Report any issues with kitchen equipment, fixtures, or fittings, and ensure proper usage and care.
  • Prepare nutritious and balanced meals for staff, as agreed with management.
  • Implement the hotel’s customer service policies, keeping guests informed about available services.
  • Address guest complaints efficiently, reporting any concerns to senior chefs or management as needed.
  • Prioritize health and safety for yourself and others, following all safety protocols.
  • Foster strong teamwork within the kitchen and across departments.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal grooming and adhere to uniform requirements.
  • Support other kitchen needs as directed by the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
  • Attend scheduled training and meetings to enhance culinary skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Salary

  • €34,000 – €35,000
