The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a Conference & Banqueting Manager in Sligo.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bar Manager or Restaurant Manager looking to take the next step in their career into a senior, events-focused leadership role within a well-established property.The Conference & Banqueting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all C&B operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of events, conferences, and banqueting services to the highest standard. The successful candidate will lead from the front, managing teams, coordinating with key departments, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Duties

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Conference & Banqueting department
• Lead, train, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service
• Coordinate and oversee events, conferences, and weddings from start to finish
• Ensure all service standards and SOPs are maintained
• Work closely with the sales and events team to deliver client expectations
• Manage staffing levels, rostering, and labour costs
• Monitor and control departmental budgets and KPIs
• Handle guest feedback and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintain health & safety and HACCP compliance at all times

Requirements

• Must have experience in hospitality
• Must have experience in a similar role or be ready to step forward in their career (e.g. strong Bar or Restaurant Manager)
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a high-volume environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience in events, banqueting, or functions is highly desirable
• Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI
• Visa and relocation packages are not provided
