Job description

We are looking for Relief Catering Supervisors to cover various posts with our clients in the Contract Catering sector. Shifts would be Monday to Friday 7am-3pm.

Duties:

  • Supervise and coordinate all catering staff and activities.

  • Ensure food and beverage services are delivered to a high standard and meet client specifications.

  • Assist in planning and executing catering setups, including layout, décor, and equipment.

  • Monitor food presentation and portion control for consistency and quality.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Train, schedule, and support catering team members to maintain high service standards.

  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment for events.

  • Work closely with the kitchen and operations teams to coordinate food preparation and delivery schedules.

  • Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements;

  • Proven experience in catering, food service, or hospitality supervision.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (e.g., ServSafe certification is advantageous).

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
