Kitchen Porter / Catering Assistant – New Ross

We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Porter / Catering Assistant for a part-time temporary role based in New Ross.

This is a varied hospitality role that combines kitchen support, cleaning duties, and customer-facing responsibilities. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in different areas as required, including kitchen porter duties, till operation, and general cleaning.

About the Role

Responsibilities may include:

• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
• Supporting food preparation and catering operations
• Operating the till and handling customer transactions
• Assisting with food service when required
• Following hygiene and food safety procedures
• Supporting the wider hospitality team with day-to-day tasks

Essential Requirements

• Previous Kitchen Porter, Catering Assistant, Deli Assistant, or Hospitality experience
• Till / cash handling experience
• Willingness to assist with cleaning duties when required
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and flexible attitude
