We are looking for experienced catering assistants and kitchen porters, preferably with DELI AND TILL experience, to work on a temporary/relief basis through our agency, in Ballymore Eustace,Blessington,Naas and Hollywood.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable individual, with the ability to work in on their own initiative in busy working environments. Solid experience in dishwashing and/or food preparation, food service.
Hours’ availability may vary, but typically work is available between Monday to Friday with an early morning start. Part-time hours mostly but Full-Time hours can become available.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy daytime, Monday-Friday work and are looking to have control over their own schedule through a flexible working arrangements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the kitchen in busiest departments as needed such as food portioning, preparation and service ensuring high quality food and adherance to food safety standards
Operate the till accurately and efficiently, while placing orders and processing card and cash transactions
Wash and clean dishes, utensils and cleaning kitchen equipment using professional equipment
Maintain a clean and organized working environment ensuring high hygiene standards
Manage and dispose waste correctly in line with food safety regulations
Ensure clear communication with the rest of the BOH team, to ensure smooth daily operations
Use and store cleaning equipment appropriately ensuring own and the teams safety at all times
Your profile

Previous experience in a professional kitchen
Dishwashing, food prep, deli and/or till experience preferred
Ability to commute for early shifts
Ability to work quickly in a busy environment
Food hygiene and knowledge of food safety standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude, flexibility with a can-do approach
