Job description

The Noel Group is hiring Catering Assistants and Kitchen Porters for temporary ongoing work across various venues and corporate functions for our clients around Dublin.

Catering Assistant – Main Duties

• Assist with the preparation and service of meals and beverages.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
• Clean and maintain kitchen, dining areas and catering equipment.
• Assist customers with menu choices where required.
• Work efficiently as part of a team in busy environments.
• Carry out other duties as directed by the Manager.

Kitchen Porter – Main Duties

• General cleaning of kitchen equipment and catering areas.
• Keep kitchen and work areas clean, tidy and hygienic.
• Clean kitchen and catering units on a daily basis.
• Unload and put away deliveries.
• Empty bins, sweep and mop floors.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.
• Maintain high kitchen hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements

• Must be available for full-time, ongoing work.
• Reliable and punctual with good attendance.
• Flexible and able to adapt to different working environments.
• Comfortable working in a busy environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Good conversational English.
• Friendly, hardworking and positive can-do attitude.
• Flexibility with working hours.
• HACCP / Food Safety Level 1 certificate preferred.
• Manual Handling certificate preferred.
• Previous catering, hospitality or kitchen experience.
