Business Development Manager – Galway Region (€55,000)

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support hotels in the Galway area. You will join a collaborative sales team and have access to structured training, development programmes, and mentoring to support career growth. The Role

Reporting to the Area Director of Sales, you will drive new business across all segments, manage client relationships, and deliver results that align with each hotel’s strategic goals. You will represent the hotels at sales meetings, networking events, and client visits, ensuring a professional and high-performing approach to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and secure new business opportunities locally and internationally across all owned segments.

• Collaborate with the Area Director of Sales to deliver on business plan objectives and revenue targets.

• Represent the hotels at sales meetings, networking events, client visits, and industry functions.

• Utilise CRM, BI tools, and market intelligence to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

• Maintain relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and account growth.

• Analyse business performance, monitor key accounts, and take proactive action on trends or declines.

• Support budget planning, forecasting, and rate strategy discussions for assigned segments.

• Prepare regular reports and contribute to the execution of quarterly sales activity plans.

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar business development or hotel sales role.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships.

• Commercially aware with analytical ability to identify trends and opportunities.

• Organised, results-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience working with global clients or agencies is advantageous.

• Knowledge of the Galway market is preferred but not essential.

Salary: €55,000 per year
