Location: County Cavan

Are you an ambitious sales professional with strong skills in relationship building? Our client, a leading four-star hotel and resort, is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their Sales & Marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a prestigious hospitality environment, driving growth across both the leisure and corporate markets.

The Role

As Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in expanding market presence and strengthening client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

• Researching, identifying, and converting new business opportunities across MICE, corporate, group, and leisure sectors

• Building strong relationships with corporate clients, agents, tour operators, and event organisers

• Preparing tailored proposals and delivering clear, engaging presentations

• Networking to generate referrals and raise brand visibility

• Attending trade shows, networking events, and sales missions to represent the hotel

• Conducting site inspections, familiarisation trips, and client presentations

• Collaborating with the marketing team on targeted campaigns and promotional activities

• Maintaining accurate records and reporting via CRM and sales pipeline tools

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a sales or business development role

• Strong knowledge of the Irish and UK corporate, MICE, or tourism sectors

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

• A self-motivated, commercially minded, and target-driven approach

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• A full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel as required

• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
