Noel Group are seeking a Breakfast Duty Manager in Galway. As the new Breakfast Duty Manager, you will have a professional manner, with the ability to manage the morning team. In your new role, you will have excellent communication skills across departments. In this role, experience in managing health and safety & risk management in a hotel environment will also be important.

The client we are recruiting for is a 4 star hotel in Galway. The hours for this role are 5 days over 7 and must be available to start at 6am.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day operation of the restaurant, conference and events, leading by example, to achieve the highest level of Guest satisfaction.
• To deal with any complaints in a professional manner.
• To assess risk management on an daily basis
• Assist the General Manager in special projects & tasks.
• Makes recommendations in relation to food, conference and events operations in order to achieve better service standards.
• Makes recommendations with respect to the restaurant, conference and events promotions in order to achieve sales objectives.
• Input & focus on all areas of the restaurant, conference and events.
• Assisting the General Manager with the restaurant, conference and events HR function including interviews, recruiting and inducting.
• Participate when menus are reviewed to remain competitive with current competition.
• Monitoring levels of non-consumables and replenishing as necessary.
• Communicates and adhere to fire, emergency, security and health and safety procedures in compliance to hotel policies.
• Ensures all staff comply with the hotels time keeping systems.
• Preparation of rosters.
• To report for duty on time and in the correctly presented uniform.
• To accept flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests.
• To attend all training courses as notified to you.
• To ensure that the company policies, the vision statement and departmental objectives are followed and utilised at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Valid full drivers license
• 1 year experience in management role in 4 star hotel
• Professional manner

Salary:

• €35,000
