The Noel Group is currently searching for an experienced Breakfast Chef to connect with our Clients in Cobh. As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing delicious and visually appealing breakfast offerings that meet the high standards of our hotel.

Duties will include:

  • Planning breakfast menus that cater to a diverse range of tastes and dietary requirements, including continental, and international options.
  • Preparing and cooking breakfast items such as eggs, pancakes, pastries, cereals, fruits, and various accompaniments with precision and attention to detail.
  • Ensuring that all breakfast items are prepared and presented according to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the breakfast kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients, equipment cleanliness, and adherence to food safety regulations.
  • Monitoring food inventory levels and placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted breakfast service.
  • Collaborating with other members of the culinary team to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely delivery of breakfast orders to guests.
  • Assisting with special dietary requests and accommodating guest preferences as necessary.
  • Upholding the highest standards of professionalism, hygiene, and kitchen safety at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Chef, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting, with a focus on breakfast service.
  • In-depth knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques, recipes, and food presentation methods.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Certification from a culinary school or equivalent culinary training is preferred.
