We are currently recruiting a Barista / Catering Assistant for a temporary role based in Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional looking for Monday to Friday daytime work, with shifts typically running during the morning and afternoon.

About the Role

As a Barista / Catering Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving barista-style coffees and beverages
• Operating the till and handling customer transactions accurately
• Assisting with deli service and food presentation
• Supporting general catering and food service duties
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the café and service areas
• Assisting with stock replenishment and daily setup tasks

What We’re Looking For

• Previous Barista experience
• Experience using a till and handling customer payments
• Willingness to assist with deli and catering duties
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
• Ability to work in a busy hospitality environment

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Morning and daytime shifts
• Typically between 7:00am and 3:00pm (site dependent)
