The Noel Group is thrilled to be partnering with a luxurious 4-star hotel in Co. Laois, who are looking to add a passionate and experienced Bar Manager to their team. The successful candidate will lead bar operations and ensure memorable guest experiences, in line with their high standards of service.

The successful candidate will lead the daily service of the hotel bar, as well as taking ownership of other vital functions, such as stock control and financial planning. The Bar Manager will need to display passion for the hospitality industry, as well as strong leadership skills, and top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities of a Bar Manager:

• Oversee daily bar operations across the hotel
• Support, train, and motivate the bar team
• Maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Develop and implement drinks menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and HACCP standards
• Monitor costs, margins, and sales performance to achieve financial targets
• Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively

Requirements for a Bar Manager:

• 3+ years’ experience in a bar management role, or in a similar high-volume, hospitality role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of beverages, cocktails, wines, and spirits
• Passion for customer service and attention to detail
• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Must be living in Ireland and have all relevant Right to Work in the Republic of Ireland.
