The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious 4-star hotel in Co. Laois to recruit an experienced Hotel Bar Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven hospitality professional to lead a vibrant bar operation, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.
The Bar Manager will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s bar operations, from daily service management and team leadership to stock control and financial performance. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong product knowledge, and the ability to motivate a team to deliver consistent excellence.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and manage the bar team to deliver outstanding customer service at all times.

Oversee daily bar operations, including staff scheduling, stock control, and ordering.

Develop and implement creative beverage menus and promotions to drive revenue.

Ensure compliance with all licensing, health & safety, and hygiene regulations.

Manage budgets, control costs, and contribute to achieving financial targets.

Recruit, train, and develop bar staff to maintain high performance standards.

Maintain excellent relationships with guests, suppliers, and internal departments.

Monitor service standards, providing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a bar management role within a hotel or high-volume hospitality venue.

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and bar operations.

Proven track record of driving sales and achieving profitability goals.

Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.

Must be currently living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
