Bar Manager

Noel Group are seeking a new bar manager in Wexford. The new bar manager will be responsible for the overall management and smooth functioning of the bar area within the hotel, such as the Bar. You will be tasked with creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for patrons, overseeing the team, and ensuring the profitability and success of the hotel.

Our client is a 3 star hotel located in Wexford centre. The hotel is 26 bedrooms and they pride themselves in their hospitality. They are looking for a customer-focused individual who will share similar beliefs in creating and delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including bartenders and support team. Schedule shifts, set performance standards, conduct evaluations, and address disciplinary issues.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through friendly, efficient service. Handle complaints professionally and encourage staff to create memorable experiences.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and work with the Store Manager to negotiate with suppliers. Control costs through efficient stock management.
• Maintain bar setup and cleanliness, develop SOPs, and ensure compliance with safety and alcohol service standards.
• Assist in the food service where needed
• Distribute keys to guests checking in from the bar area
• Create and manage budgets, monitor sales, and adjust strategies to meet targets. Keep detailed financial records.
• Work with the marketing team to plan events and promotions, track industry trends, and manage band bookings.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and maintain necessary licenses for alcohol sales.
• Continuously train staff on skills, product knowledge, and safety practices.
• Maintain high standards for drink and food quality, cleanliness, and presentation.

Qualifications:

• Previous Management experience advantageous.
• Experience with serving food also advantageous but not necessary.

Salary:

• €45,000
