Banqueting Manager – Waterford
Salary: €35,000 per annum

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a Banqueting Manager in Waterford.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven hospitality professional to take ownership of all banqueting and events operations within a busy hotel environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality events, ensuring exceptional guest experience and smooth operational execution.

The Role

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the banqueting department
• Plan, coordinate, and execute weddings, conferences, and large-scale events
• Lead and manage the banqueting team to ensure high standards of service delivery
• Work closely with sales, kitchen, and F&B teams to ensure seamless event execution
• Conduct event briefings and ensure all operational details are clearly communicated
• Manage staffing levels, rotas, and on-the-day team coordination
• Ensure all events are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety and food hygiene standards

Requirements to be Considered

• Must have experience in hospitality
• Must have experience in a similar role or be ready to step up in their career
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Experience managing weddings, banquets, or large-scale events is highly desirable
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Living in Ireland with the right to work in ROI
• Visa and relocation packages are not provided
