We are looking for a Venue Assistant Manager for our client in Bunratty, Co. Clare

This is a full time on-site role. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of managing the pub, including supervising staff, ordering supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for facilitating events and supporting the General Manager whilst creating and implementing marketing and promotional strategies.

Job Description

  • Collecting payment for drinks at the time of service, or processing payment at the end of the shift.
  • Ensure bar cleanliness and compliance with safety
  • Run shifts efficient and effectivity
  • Oversee scheduling of the team
  • Assist with hiring and evaluating
  • Purchasing, accepting and stock rotation
  • Perform inventory controls and place orders
  • Ensuring guests have a pleasant experience and deal with any complaint that arise
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed throughout the business
  • Report to General Manager

Qualifications

  • Experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with marketing and promotional strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
