Job Specification: HGV C+E Class Driver (Articulated / Trailer)

Location: Dublin West, with nationwide deliveries across Ireland

Salary: Up to €52,000 per annum

Job Summary

A well-established logistics operator is currently recruiting experienced HGV C+E drivers to support increased customer demand. This role involves Monday-to-Friday nationwide distribution work operating from the Dublin depot. The position offers competitive pay, a supportive working environment, and the opportunity to operate modern articulated vehicles across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate articulated unit & trailer combinations on nationwide routes
• Complete multi-drop and single-drop deliveries (mix of both, approx. 32 drops per week on average)
• Comply with all tachograph, CPC, and road safety regulations
• Carry out pre-trip vehicle checks and maintain high standards of vehicle care
• Provide professional customer service at delivery points (some sites may require assistance with loading/unloading)
• Work flexible daily routes that may vary depending on operational requirements
• Monday-Friday schedule with optional Saturday overtime available (not mandatory)

Requirements

• Full HGV C+E Licence (essential)
• Minimum 1 year recent experience driving articulated units (preference for 2+ years experience)
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Strong knowledge of the Irish road network
• Clean driving record and strong safety awareness
• Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
