Job Title: Area Revenue Manager

Location: Clonmel, Co. Tipperary or Limerick City (with occasional travel between properties)

Role Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Reports To: General Managers of both properties and the Group Commercial Team


About the Role

Noel Group is currently partnering with a well-established hospitality group to recruit an Area Revenue Manager to support two busy hotel properties in the Munster region.

This is a strategic role focused primarily on maximising room revenue through pricing, inventory management, and distribution strategies. The successful candidate will also play a key role in analysing and supporting revenue performance across other areas of the business including meetings & events, leisure facilities, and food & beverage operations.

Working closely with the sales, reservations, marketing, and operations teams, the Area Revenue Manager will use data-driven insights to develop strategies that optimise occupancy, rate performance, and overall profitability.

The role can be based in either property depending on the successful candidate’s location, with some travel between the hotels required.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Strategy & Optimisation

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximise room revenue across all segments
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to adjust rates accordingly
  • Optimise occupancy and revenue through effective yield and inventory management
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue across additional departments including events, leisure facilities, and F&B

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse performance data to support commercial decision-making
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports highlighting trends and opportunities
  • Provide insights into booking patterns, segmentation, and distribution channel performance
  • Work closely with finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting

Distribution & Channel Management

  • Manage distribution channels including OTAs, GDS, direct booking channels, and third-party platforms
  • Ensure rate parity and accuracy across all online channels
  • Support strategies to increase direct bookings via the hotel website
  • Work with digital marketing teams to align promotional activity with revenue goals

Collaboration & Commercial Strategy

  • Partner with General Managers, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive overall commercial performance
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, packaging, and promotional campaigns
  • Support teams with revenue management best practices and insights

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a revenue management role within hospitality
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, demand forecasting, and distribution management
  • Experience working with OTAs, GDS systems, and direct booking channels
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable commercial strategies
  • Understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce within hospitality
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
  • Highly organised with a proactive, results-driven mindset
