Trade Counter Assistant / Warehouse Operative

Noel Group are looking for a trade counter assistant /warehouse operative for full time work in Ballymount South Dublin

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting customers at the trade counter, providing product information and processing sales orders.
• Handling cash and card transactions accurately while delivering excellent customer service.
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer and trade orders for collection and delivery.
• Receiving, checking, and storing stock in the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely using appropriate manual handling techniques.
• Maintaining stock levels and replenishing shelves to ensure product availability.
• Conducting regular stock checks and assisting with inventory control procedures.
• Ensuring the warehouse and trade counter areas were clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Working closely with suppliers, drivers, and colleagues to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
• Operating warehouse equipment and followed company safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform manual handling tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Basic IT skills for stock systems

Desirable Skills

• Experience with RF scanners
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Experience in fast-paced distribution environments

Shift

• Day shift Monday to Friday
