Engineering Lead

We are partnering with a leading Irish engineering and manufacturing business to recruit an Engineering Lead – Modular Design. This is a key leadership position responsible for managing a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering electrical, mechanical and BIM design solutions for complex modular projects.

The role offers the opportunity to lead from the front in a fast-growing organisation, overseeing project delivery, engineering standards and team development while helping drive innovation across a rapidly expanding modular construction operation. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping engineering capability during a period of significant growth.

Responsibilities Include

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of electrical, mechanical and BIM engineers.
• Ensuring design deliverables are completed in line with project and production schedules.
• Reviewing and approving engineering designs, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities and stakeholder engagement.
• Driving quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7-10 years’ engineering experience.
• Previous engineering leadership or management experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and project delivery.
• Experience managing resources, schedules and multiple concurrent projects.

What’s on offer:

• Salary circa €80,000 – €90,000, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
