Noel Group is currently recruiting for a Temporary Executive Officer to join a busy and dynamic HR Service Centre within a leading third-level educational institution in Dublin City Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator looking to develop their HR career within a fast-paced, professional environment. Working as part of a dedicated HR team, you will be the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing support across a broad range of HR-related queries and administrative functions.
Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
The Role
As an Executive Officer within the HR Service Centre, you will provide frontline support to over 5,000 employees, managing a high volume of enquiries through walk-ins, telephone and email communications. You will play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience while ensuring HR processes are administered accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers.
- Respond to enquiries via email, telephone and face-to-face interactions.
- Provide administrative support across a broad range of HR functions.
- Manage and prioritise a high volume of requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Support HR colleagues with administrative tasks and team projects as required.
- Contribute to a positive customer-focused service environment.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in an administrative, customer service or office support role.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident engaging with people in person, over the phone and via email.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- Well organised with excellent time management skills.
- Proficient IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Professional, approachable and solutions-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sound judgement when handling confidential information.
Desirable
- Previous HR administration experience.
- A basic understanding of HR principles and processes.
- Experience working within a large organisation or shared service environment.
