Noel Group is currently recruiting for a Temporary Executive Officer to join a busy and professional HR Service Centre within a leading educational institution.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their HR experience in a busy environment, gaining exposure to a wide range of HR processes while working as part of a supportive and customer-focused team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Location: Office-based

The Role

The HR Service Centre supports a large workforce and serves as the first point of contact for HR-related queries. This is a busy, front-facing role involving direct interaction with employees and managers through walk-in enquiries, telephone calls, and email correspondence, alongside a broad range of HR administrative responsibilities.

You will play a key role in delivering a professional and efficient HR service, ensuring queries are handled accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to HR queries via walk-ins, telephone and email.
  • Provide administrative support across a range of HR functions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Manage and follow through on queries to completion.
  • Ensure confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Support the wider HR team during busy periods.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service to employees and managers.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience in a busy administrative or customer service environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A professional, approachable and solutions-focused manner.
  • Confidence dealing directly with people both in person and remotely.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Good judgement and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to use initiative and problem-solve effectively.
  • Flexibility and willingness to support colleagues as required.

Previous HR administration experience or a basic understanding of HR processes would be advantageous but is not essential.
