Maintenance Fitter

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician on behalf of our growing client, based in Co Westmeath.Our client manufactures innovative products for customers worldwide and has a world-class manufacturing operation with significant investment in automation, technology, and advanced production processes.

They need someone with previous mechanical maintenance/ fitting experience who can maintain and troubleshoot issues with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Repair and maintenance mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic issues with minimal downtime
• Attend breakdowns, identify root causes, and action immediate corrective solutions
• Lead and participate in projects
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement

Minimum requirements

• Qualified maintenance technician or level 6 qualification
• Previous experience in a metal manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate on rotating shifts – day, evening, night on a Monday to Friday basis
• Be living in Westmeath or surrounding areas with own transport
