Catering Assistant Waterford

Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant for a temporary role based in Waterford.

This position offers Monday to Friday, with shifts typically running from 7:00am to 3:00pm. We are seeking candidates who are available to commit to a full-time schedule.

Only candidates available for full-time hours will be considered.

About the Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy catering environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with food preparation and food service
• Serving customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
• Replenishing food and beverage stations
• Assisting with till operation and cash handling when required
• Following food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
• Supporting the catering team with daily tasks

What We’re Looking For

• Previous Catering Assistant, Hospitality, Deli, or Food Service experience preferred
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to work in a busy catering environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
