Catering Assistant

Job description

We are currently hiring a friendly and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our clients’ team based in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with catering or hospitality experience who enjoys customer service and working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with food preparation and service
• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintaining a clean and tidy service area, restaurant, and kitchen
• Operating the till and handling cash
• Ensuring all HACCP and food safety standards are followed
• Washing up and general kitchen duties
• Stocking up fridges and service counters

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Catering Assistant, Deli Assistant, or in hospitality is desirable
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexible to work various shifts including weekends
