Health and Safety Manager – Manufacturing

We are recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for our client based in Dublin 12 who will have responsibility for all H&S in a fast paced manufacturing site with 150 staff onsite.

The role will require someone with 5 years H&S leadership experience and several years of experience of Irish Health & Safety legislation.

It is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to move into a large international organisation with long term group level opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as the site champion for health, safety, and environmental excellence, fostering a culture where safety comes first.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and company standards.
• Maintain and continually improve HSE policies, procedures, and management systems to support operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct and oversee risk assessments, inspections, and safe systems of work to minimise risk and enhance workplace safety.
• Manage internal and external audit activities, driving continuous improvement and maintaining compliance with standards including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Minimum requirements

• Minimum of 5 years senior Health and safety experience with at least 2 years of this in manufacturing or industrial
• Recognised qualification in Occupational Health & Safety
• 2 years+ Demonstratable experience adhering to Irish legislation
• Leadership experience with the ability to influence safety across site
