Transport loader morning shift

Job description

Noel Group are looking for full time transport loading operatives for a morning shift in Naas, Kildare.

The duties of the loading operative will include loading and unloading of trucks, general housekeeping, wrapping and sorting crates and pallets.

Responsibities:

• Load and unload products, materials, and equipment from transport vehicles.
• Check goods against delivery notes, manifests, or shipment documentation.
• Ensure cargo is safely stacked, secured, and distributed to prevent damage during transit.
• Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized loading area.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including manual handling guidelines.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock movement within the warehouse.
• Work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and logistics personnel to meet delivery schedules.
• Complete required paperwork and records accurately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or loading environment preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
