People Operations Manager

Location: Dublin
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: €65,000 – €70,000 + 10% Performance Bonus

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced People Operations Manager to join a large-scale hospitality and events operation in Dublin. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, responsible for driving workforce planning, recruitment, employee engagement, and people operations excellence.

Working closely with operational leaders, you will ensure the business attracts, develops, and retains a highly engaged workforce while delivering an outstanding employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the on-site People Operations team.
  • Manage workforce planning, scheduling, and resourcing requirements.
  • Oversee high-volume recruitment for permanent, casual, and seasonal employees.
  • Deliver onboarding, induction, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support managers with performance management and employee relations matters.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Monitor workforce metrics including labour costs, turnover, absenteeism, and productivity.
  • Use people data and reporting to support workforce and operational decisions.
  • Provide people operations leadership during major events and peak trading periods.
  • Ensure payroll processes, right-to-work compliance, and employee welfare standards are maintained.

About You

  • Proven experience in HR, People Operations, or Workforce Management within hospitality, catering, events, retail, or another high-volume operational environment.
  • Experience managing large seasonal or casual workforces.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Data-driven approach with strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.

Desirable

  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience with workforce management or HR systems.
  • Experience in large venues, events, stadia, hospitality, or similar environments.
