Job Title: General Operative (Evening Shift)

Location: Arklow, Co. Wicklow, Ireland

Department: Operations

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Pay Rate: €15.04 per hour

About the Role

An established and growing manufacturing business based in Arklow is seeking General Operatives to join its Operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting safe and efficient production processes while ensuring quality standards are maintained at all times.

Working Hours

Fixed Evening Shift

* Monday to Thursday: 4:30pm – 1:00am

* Friday: 1:00pm – 8:00pm

Key Responsibilities

* Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

* Support production activities to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

* Assist in maintaining and improving operational processes and best working practices.

* Contribute to the training and development of team members where required.

* Complete all quality checks and ensure products meet required specifications.

* Minimise waste and maintain high standards of workmanship.

* Work towards achieving production targets and operational efficiencies.

* Report quality issues, equipment faults, or maintenance requirements promptly to the Shift Supervisor.

* Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the work area.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.

* Comply with all company policies, procedures, and certification requirements.

Desirable (Not Essential)

* Previous manufacturing experience.

* Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing, print, packaging, or industrial environment.

Full training will be provided to successful candidates.
