Goods Inward Operative

Noel Group is currently recruiting a Goods Inwards Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Naas, Co. Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with warehouse experience to develop their career within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries from suppliers and transport companies.
• Safely unload vehicles using appropriate equipment.
• Check incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
• Inspect products for damage, shortages, or defects.
• Record goods received using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Label and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Keep the goods-in area clean, organised, and hazard-free.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory audits.
• Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or goods-inwards experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
